Whos the DADDY Now!!!

Who is the daddy NOW...

Even a legendary writer like me finds it difficult to put this feeling in words. Lol.. jokes apart this has to be the best feeling ever. I have never felt closer to my god ever in my life. There is something about the way my son Zohan looks @ me.

It seems he does not look at me but thru me. Normally when anybody looks at me, it appears they have an image that they form and their look, response and body language thereafter is a reaction to that initial image.

All of this happens so fast that it seems all in one. But with practice you can start noticing the small split second difference between stage 1 to stage 3.

With Zohan on the other hand, there is no image formation at the first place and therefore there is no reaction. This non-judgmental look (for whatever time it lasts) is an overwhelming experience. That is like God starring at you.

Dude is so basic in his needs and keeps it so simple that there are no hang-ups, there is so much 2 learn from him. His life revolves around a total of 3 chores, Hunger, poop and sleep. Rest as they say are meaningless disturbances including over exited relatives and supposed parents.

Only, if we could be so stringent about our priorities in life and treat everything else as just ‘noise’.

I have noticed that of all the great men who have achieved anything worthwhile in their endeavors has this one trait as a common. Their uncanny ability to stay focused on their chosen aims and priorities in life irrespective of their surroundings and conditionings.

A 9 day old is such a tiny being and vulnerable that you by default feel protective and shielding. I have witnessed emotions in myself that I wasn’t aware existed.

Looking forward to taking care and nurturing this budding legend named ZOHAN DHAWAN.

Reforms Unleashed.

Reforms Unleashed.

At the expense of repeating myself, I can’t help but see uncanny similarity between Indian cricket team and Politics.  Well, end of the day we are Indians. We perform our best only when our backs are against the wall and there is no other way.
Wat 02 days in History of our nation.
The silent and timid prime minister finally brakes his shackles and HOW. FDI in retail passed, FDI in aviation passed, FDI in broadcast passed, disinvestment worth 15000 crores passed, Diesel price raised. All in 02 days flat. People would realize in a decade or two that this has been one of the most wonderful days for our country, we can NOW say that we are a developing nation.
I have been saying this from quite some time now, I have seen country’s changing over a span of a decade, Look back in history and you will see foreign investments changing the contours of a country, be it USA, Germany, Singapore, Japan or Thailand for that matter.
This definitely is the second best thing to have happened to our country after Madhu Dandwate’s budget opening the flood gates of liberalization.
It feels great 2 be part of GROWING and finally Prospering INDIA.  The snowball is finally rolling and mamata banerjee’s of the world are getting crumbled under it.

What Not 2 Wear India

Saw the program, ‘what not to wear India’ on TLC hosted by Saif’s sister and a half a man named Aki something.  I do not know why that program offended me at a very deep level. What a joke, people suffering from serious low self esteem allowing jokers to judge them and tell em what is wrong with their wardrobe. Personally What I  wear is my prerogative, comfort is everything, I don’t give 2 hoots 2 wat the current fashion is, what jokers are selling and I refuse to be judged by apes and the masses.

Now point taken, not everyone is as sure as me, even if some insecure dame wants to improve her looks, you gotta choose your mentor carefully. I mean who is that ass. You gotta see it to believe it. Leave alone dressing, dude is not even sure of his sexuality. Tight girlie pants, mufflers, flowery shirts. He is like a chick with a dick or may be women trapped in a man’s body.  Actually to be honest it works out great,  he gets to vent out his frustration and sleep ok, insecure girls get another bashing everybody goes home happy.

Funny thing is even after all that they are not good at wat they do. The program ( first and last) that I saw, the dame was at-least looking slim before these apes ruined her wardrobe. All of a sudden due to their crazy acts of fashion, they accentuated her ass and she almost added 10 inches to her hips and 10 years to her age.

You don’t have to search humor, it comes screaming at you.

Tennis fiasco!!!

AITA succumbing to the whims and fancies of tennis players is a joke. I am not even going to blame freak shows like bopanna and bhupati who have their egos bigger than the game and the national interest.

Blame lies on the system (AITA in this case). Any player can have the audacity to dictate terms over and above the national interest if he/she knows that he can get away with it and will have his/her way.

This is not about tennis, this is the story of our country in general.  Pairing of players is not a negotiable instrument. All kinds of permutations and combinations come to fore when the governing body shows the signs of weakness that it is open for options. That is like opening a can of worms. You cannot really point fingers now, who is at fault, who is not, who said what, what was the response. I mean that’s like trying to cure the symptoms not touching the root cause.

Selection Decisions need to be autocratic in nature, period. Take it or leave it, in-fact penalize rigorously if you decide to leave it.  Set an example for generations to follow, bar these freak shows from representing the country EVER. Let these jokers play grand slams and collect trophies in individual stateless quota coz that’s what they ask for, that’s what they should get.

Just imagine, after getting a slap, shreesant declares if harbhajan plays, count me out. No prize for guessing what would be bcci’s response.

Point taken that tennis is an individual sport unlike cricket however no amount of excuse (even a slap, leave alone Bhupati’s cry baby ‘I was stabbed in the back’ grudges ) are enough to shun your national responsibility. You are because of the game and not the other way round you Padma shri recipient.

Is Rajat Gupta a criminal.

Mr. Gupta has been accused of passing confidential information to a hedge fund for personal gain. Actually, he has been sentenced with circumstantial evidence which means that irrespective of personal gain or not, he has been convicted for sharing private info.

Going by this, half of the world should be behind bars. So many times I have seen the price of a stock rallying due to great quarterly numbers, mergers and acquisitions a lot before the news being made official.

Leave alone that, it is a well known fact that if party A comes to power, there are set of companies which will benefit and another set which will doom.  It is a universal phenomenon. We all know who backs which candidate. We also know who is sponsoring the election expenditure. For me, that is the biggest insider trading of all time. You are planting an insider (President) to trade the fortunes.

And 90% of the world’s wealth has been made by networking and contacts, put all of them behind bars. Irrespective of where you draw the line, you cannot rule out hypocrisy.

Having said that i think one thing that I can safely take out from this debacle is that American Judicial system is lot better than anywhere. We have the Rajus of satyam and raja of telecom scam free and ready to get on with their next act.

These punishments are symbolic in nature, while greed is an instilled human factor and cannot be eradicated completely, what these decisions do is remind you that the consequences can be crucifying.

Our judiciary system is unfortunately plagued by lethargy, inaction and general chalta hai attitude which has resulted in general disregard of rules and law.
I mean you see this daily don’t you. Traffic rules been violated, women pillion riders not suppose to wear helmets, a court case taking average of 5-10 years to finish.

The bottom line is that there is no danda. Danda is the tool that makes the world go round. By convicting Rajat Gupta, American judiciary has yet again proved that they have courage and integrity enough to stand up for ethics and give a symbolic decision.

End of an Era

End of an Era
Rahul Dravid retires from International Test cricket. Make no mistake, there will be no other Rahul ever; I say that because it is not just the talent but the way this dude carried himself, the integrity, the selflessness, the sheer hard work,  the ever so fading altruism.

It is a pity we live in a world where flamboyance, arrogance and extravagance is noticed almost immediately while behind the scene doggie ruthless determinations are often ignored.

I mean everybody remembers Yuvraj’s six 6s. Sachin’s effortless on-drives, Warner’s reverse sweep six but nobody notices the guy with a record of facing highest number of balls and that too with flawless technique showing the makers name to the bowler.

In my book, Rahul Dravid is a touch better than Sachin himself. Sachin Tendulkar is most definitely more talented, however if god had bestowed the same to our Rahul, India would have been in a much better place.

Because of this, legendary Rahul Dravid never got his due. Saurav Ganguly got all the laurels for being the most successful captain but nobody mentions the fact that it was Rahul who scored whopping 23% of the total runs scored by the whole team in those matches not counting the additional workload of wicket keeping bestowed on him.

Rahul Dravid has been a true work horse of Indian cricket team. He is the architect and the foundation on which new breed of fluent cricketers are showcasing their talents.

True to his larger than life professionalism, Rahul Dravid decided to retire off the field not obstructing the way for any deserving youngster in a day and age where showmanship and tributary farewell matches are order of the day.

It is truly an end of an era.
